TERMS OF SERVICE.
What you agree to when you buy a data plan from us. Last updated 23 August 2026.
Who we are
Kili is a service operated by Circle Technologies, registered in Ethiopia ([[COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER]]), at [[REGISTERED ADDRESS]]. Reach us at support@usekili.com.
We resell mobile data plans that run on other operators' networks. We are not a mobile network operator ourselves, and we do not control coverage, speed, or whether a particular network is reachable where you are standing.
What you are buying
An eSIM data plan: a digital profile you install on your phone, valid for a set number of days in a set country or region, with a set amount of data. It is a data plan. It does not include a phone number, calls, or SMS unless a plan says otherwise.
Where a plan is described as unlimited, a fair-use threshold applies. After heavy daily use your speed may be reduced for the rest of that day. The threshold is set by the underlying network, not by us, and is shown on the plan before you buy.
Your device must support eSIM
Not every phone can install an eSIM, and some phones sold in some countries are carrier- locked in ways that prevent it. Checking that your device is compatible and unlocked is your responsibility, and we publish a compatibility list to help. If you buy a plan and your phone turns out to be incompatible, see our refund policy — you are covered so long as the eSIM has not been installed.
Accounts
Accounts are created with your email address. We do not use passwords: you sign in with a one-time code sent to your inbox. Anyone with access to that inbox can access your account and the eSIM credentials in it, so keep it secure.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown before you pay, in the currency you will actually be charged. Where a plan is priced in US dollars and you pay in Ethiopian Birr, we convert at a rate recorded at the moment you place the order; that recorded rate is the one used, even if the market moves afterwards.
Payment is taken by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details. Your order is only fulfilled once the provider confirms the payment to us directly — not merely because you were returned to our site.
Partner and promotional codes
Codes issued by our partners may reduce the price and credit the sale to that partner. A code that has expired, been withdrawn, or would take the sale below our own cost will simply not apply — your order still goes through, at the normal price. Codes have no cash value and we may withdraw one at any time.
Delivery
Delivery is immediate and digital. Once payment clears we obtain the eSIM profile from our supplier and show it to you in your account, usually within a minute. If something fails at that step, we will tell you and either reissue it or refund you in full — you will not be left having paid for nothing.
Your plan's validity period starts when the eSIM connects to a network for the first time, not when you buy it, unless the plan says otherwise.
Things we cannot promise
We cannot guarantee coverage, speed, or uninterrupted service. Mobile networks fail, get congested, and have gaps. We cannot guarantee that a plan will work in a specific building, vehicle, or rural area.
Our liability to you for any claim connected to a plan is limited to the amount you paid for that plan. We are not liable for indirect losses — a missed booking, a lost contract, a cancelled meeting — arising from a network being unavailable.
Nothing here limits any right you have under Ethiopian law that cannot be limited.
Acceptable use
Do not use our service for anything unlawful, do not resell plans without a written agreement with us, and do not attempt to interfere with the service or with other customers' accounts. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently.
Changes
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and disputes fall to the courts of [[CITY]], Ethiopia.
